the writers block

welcome to the website of the writers block! the writers block is a new webring for writers on neocities/the indie web.

MISSION

the writers block exists to bring writers on the indie web of all skill levels, genres, and styles together to share our work and support each other.

HOW TO APPLY

put the widget somewhere clearly visible on your site, and then email kirbyspherecontact@gmail.com with a link to your site and a (brief!) description of the kind of writing you do to put on the sites list.

writers of all skill/experience levels, types (ie, essays, fiction, poetry) are encouraged to apply! acceptance into the webring is not based on skill level, i just want to make sure you're a real person.

apologies/warning in advance that the only moderator of this webring is a college student and frequently busy and bad at responding to emails on time so it may take a few weeks to respond.

RULES

  1. sites containing racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, anti-semitism, ableism, or other forms of bigotry are unacceptable. die.
  2. sites with nsfw works are perfectly acceptable, but please have that marked somewhere on your site.
  3. please have the webring widget clearly on your site. this is so the webring functions smoothly and websurfers don't have to go searching for the link.(in a links page or similar page is fine, as long as its pretty easy to find.)
